Fieragricola 2026. AI moves into the Agriculture. Diagram unveils the latest: from data processing to agritech tools
- From 4 to 7 February at Veronafiere, Netsens – a Diagram Group company – will attend Fieragricola with IoT and digital farming solutions for crop monitoring, precision viticulture, smart water management and plant protection.
- Roberto Mancini (CEO Diagram Group) “The recent catastrophic events that have affected Italy show that we are no longer dealing with isolated incidents. Action is required: agritech is part of the answer. Fieragricola is the ideal setting to demonstrate how digital technologies can be applied directly in the field, providing farmers with practical tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact and strengthen the competitiveness of agri-food supply chains.”
Jolanda di Savoia (Fe), 29 January 2026 – Diagram Group will once again take part in Fieragricola, scheduled at Veronafiere from 4 to 7 February, together with Netsens, a Group company specializing in IoT and digital farming solutions. The participation fully aligns with the guiding theme of the 2026 edition, “Full Innovation”, which focuses on technological innovation, environmental sustainability, efficient management of natural resources and tangible support for the competitiveness of agricultural businesses.
“The recent catastrophic events that have affected Italy show that we are no longer dealing with occasional episodes. Action is required: agritech is part of the solution. Fieragricola is the ideal context to demonstrate how digital technologies can be applied directly in the field, offering farmers practical tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact and strengthen the competitiveness of agri-food supply chains,” said Roberto Mancini, CEO of Diagram Group.
Software, technology and innovative tools
Among the Netsens solutions showcased at Fieragricola, particular focus is placed on disease prevention through innovative systems for the automatic monitoring of insects and pathogens. These systems collect data that is then processed by the platform together with information from control stations. Field data is managed through the LiveData platform, capable of handling more than 500,000 data points per hour from over 75,000 installed sensors, providing valuable insights to support agronomic decision-making.
Special attention is also given to digital traps such as SpyFly, along with other advanced tools for the automatic monitoring of insects and pathogens, integrated with data processing platforms, control units and digital systems for precision agriculture.
Netsens offers digital solutions that enable continuous monitoring of weather-climatic and agronomic parameters, allowing more efficient crop management, improved planning of interventions and a significant reduction in waste.
A dedicated focus is placed on precision viticulture, an area in which Netsens develops solutions designed to support wine producers in vineyard management, optimizing plant protection strategies, planning agronomic interventions and improving production quality. In line with one of the key themes of Fieragricola 2026, Netsens will also present advanced solutions for water saving and smart irrigation management.
These systems allow real-time monitoring of soil moisture and environmental conditions, automating irrigation cycles and contributing to a more conscious and sustainable use of water resources. All these solutions help reduce costs and environmental impact.
Bundled solutions to support agricultural digitalization
To encourage agricultural digitalization, during Fieragricola Netsens will offer dedicated bundles available throughout February. These integrated technology packages are designed to support crop protection and the prevention of climatic risks and pathogen attacks. The solutions – combining monitoring stations and IoT traps (SpyFly and SmartSense Defence; SpyFly and MeteoSense) – bring together advanced monitoring systems in a single offering, enabling farmers to optimize decision-making, reduce unnecessary interventions and improve production efficiency.
Direct dialogue with the agricultural sector
Throughout Fieragricola, Netsens will be available to farmers, technicians and industry professionals to present real-world case studies and live technology demonstrations, showing how monitoring systems can concretely support plant protection, climate risk prevention and the optimization of agronomic decisions.
“Artificial Intelligence, when applied in a practical way and based on measurable data, represents a strategic support for the agricultural sector,” concludes Roberto Mancini. “Not with the aim of replacing farmers’ expertise, but of enhancing it—helping to anticipate risks and improve the economic and environmental sustainability of agricultural production.”
