The Armenian wine sector now covers 16,000 hectares with a production of 14 million liters of wine, double compared to 2014.
Jolanda di Savoia, 11 february, 2025 –Abaco, since 2024 a company of the Diagram Group—Italy’s leading agritech hub and one of the top players in Europe—has won the tender for the development of the Agricultural (Grape) Value Chain Management System. This innovative system is designed to optimize traceability and the management of production processes.
The goal is to design and develop an Agriculture Value Chain Information System (AVCIS) that will serve as a centralized platform for collecting data on farmers managing vineyards, including annual updates and forecast estimates on production.
The system is expected to increase transparency and improve production monitoring through comprehensive reporting tools. The implementation of this Information System will provide the tools necessary to enhance vineyard management while ensuring high quality standards.

In recent days, Diagram had the pleasure of meeting with Gevorg Papoyan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, and Zaruhi Muradyan, Executive Director of the VWFA, during the annual conference of the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA)—a strategic event for the country’s wine sector. During the event, Mancini stated that “Diagram had the opportunity to present the project dedicated to managing the wine value chain, signing the contract with the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA), and officially launching a crucial project for the growth and digitalization of the Armenian wine sector.”
