Agritech: a Key Tool for managing and tracing Agri-Food Supply Chains

The traceability of a product and its supply chain is crucial for ensuring quality to consumers,” said Roberto Mancini, CEO of Diagram Group, during Italy’s National Made in Italy Day (April 15th). “On this occasion, we must highlight the crucial role of digitalization in the quality agri-food sector.”

Jolanda di Savoia (FE),5 april 2025 –“Agritech systems provide farmers with a user-friendly platform to manage their farms, ensuring product traceability and quality—from raw material checks to processing,” Mancini emphasized.

This is increasingly important with the new food safety decree by the Meloni Government, which introduces new offenses including food fraud and agropiracy, and requires mandatory origin labeling for all food products.
“That’s why it’s crucial to promote sustainable standards within supply chains, ensuring respect for workers, the environment, and local communities. It also helps reduce environmental impact during production and processing and boosts supply chain efficiency. Additionally, agritech services support the financial and insurance sectors. All of this is possible with solutions like those offered by Diagram and its group companies, starting with the Farmer’s Register, enabling complete supply chain control,” concluded Mancini.
