Londra, 12 December 2025 – Diagram Group celebrated the tenth anniversary of Abaco UK‘s presence in the United Kingdom yesterday in London with the Agritech Innovation Evening, an event celebrating the company’s growth and presence in the country, which brought together institutions, businesses and stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities of agritech.

Ten years of solid roots in the British market represent an important milestone for Abaco UK and the Diagram Group, opening a new season of growth and international collaboration. Starting with the recent strategic acquisition of Bizfront Malta, with which Abaco Group UK strengthens its position and at the same time increases its ability to ensure high levels of quality in the management of public and private contracts. This is also thanks to the creation of Abaco Group Malta, which further expands Diagram’s ability to provide advanced technologies for the agricultural sector.

In this scenario, the Group’s Italian expertise is now intertwined with the shared vision of Italy and the United Kingdom on sustainability, resilience and digitalisation in the agri-food sector.

The evening revolved around two key dimensions: institutional, with Italy and the UK united by a shared perspective on increasingly sustainable and digital agriculture; and technological, with the presentation of the Diagram Group’s innovative solutions in support of the agri-food supply chain.

The initiative was attended by the Deputy Head of Mission, Riccardo Smimmo, who opened the evening with institutional greetings; Roberto Mancini, CEO of Diagram, who illustrated the Group’s evolution, international vision and some success stories; Damien Powell, head of Abaco UK, who presented the results achieved over the decade and future development plans; and Giorgio Canocchi, representing Coldiretti, who explored the prospects for collaboration and opportunities for the agricultural sector.

Founded in 2015, Abaco UK has carved out a leading role in the digital agriculture landscape over the past ten years. Part of the Diagram Group, the company has focused on a clear goal from the outset: to make British agriculture more sustainable, transparent and resilient.

“Abaco UK’s tenth anniversary represents a strategic milestone for the entire Diagram Group. In ten years, we have built a solid international platform capable of putting technology at the service of sustainability and competitiveness in the agricultural sector. The recent expansion with Abaco Group Malta confirms our desire to grow responsibly and further raise quality standards in the management of digital services for governments and businesses. We will continue to invest in innovation, skills and global partnerships to accompany the transformation of agriculture towards increasingly efficient, transparent and resilient models,‘ said Roberto Mancini, CEO of Diagram.

Abaco UK’s mission can be summed up in one sentence: ’A healthy planet is our challenge, sustainability is our goal“. The company works with governments, institutions and businesses to promote the environmental sustainability of agri-food supply chains. Through management software, IoT sensors and monitoring platforms, Abaco UK helps to reduce environmental impact, optimise resource use and improve productivity.

“Ten years ago, we embarked on an ambitious journey: to contribute to the digitalisation of British agriculture through advanced technological solutions based on the Italian experience of the Diagram Group. Today, we are celebrating important results, the fruit of our collaboration with institutions, stakeholders and operators in the sector. The challenges that lie ahead will require vision, collaboration and the ability to innovate,” emphasises Damien Powell, Executive Director of ABACO Group UK.

Over the past ten years, Abaco UK has become a strategic partner of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), supporting programmes such as Environmental Land Management and Sustainable Farming initiatives. Collaboration with public bodies and research centres has enabled the development of modular and scalable solutions for agricultural fund management and process digitalisation.

Abaco UK’s ten years therefore represent not only a corporate milestone, but also the symbol of a broader transformation: that of agriculture becoming digital, resilient and sustainable, capable of addressing global challenges with innovative tools.
