Diagram Group: 2025 marked by growth, innovation, and international expansion

Jolanda di Savoia (Fe), 26 December 2025 – Robotics, sensor technology, and artificial intelligence are reshaping work in the fields and redefining the role of farmers, who are increasingly becoming entrepreneurs and data managers. In this context, Diagram Group—Italy’s and Europe’s leading agritech hub and a key player in the digitalization of precision agriculture services—closes 2025 with confirmed strong growth momentum and a strategic expansion of its international presence.

The Italian agritech market is now worth approximately €2.3 billion and, despite a phase of consolidation, continues to grow thanks to the development of data-driven solutions and the integration of AI into production processes. However, much of the potential remains untapped: only 9.5% of Italy’s agricultural land is digitalized, and just 8% of farms have reached full digital maturity. “This is not a technological limit, but a cultural and structural one,” explains Roberto Mancini, CEO of Diagram. “The challenge is to bring innovation to scale, making it accessible and tangible for farms of all sizes.”

2025 Financial and Operating Results
Throughout 2025, Diagram Group strengthened its leadership position in the agritech market and is set to close the year with consolidated revenues of €100 million, up by more than 25% compared to 2024, and with a significantly improved EBITDA. These results were driven by investments in technology and service diversification, with strong growth across all business lines (management software, sensor technology, and digital services for public and private entities).

A defining event of the year for Diagram Group—established in 2024 through the transformation of IBF Servizi SpA and the acquisitions of Agronica Srl, Abaco SpA, Agriconsulting SpA, and Netsens Srl—was the closing of the transaction that resulted in the Jolanda di Savoia–based agritech company being owned 41.6% by CDP Equity (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group), 41.6% by Trilantic Europe, and 15% by BF Agricola.

Operationally, the Group recorded an expansion of its customer base in Italy and abroad, as well as an enlarged commercial and operational network with new offices opened in Milan and Naples, strengthening territorial coverage in key strategic areas nationwide. The workforce now exceeds 1,000 employees and collaborators, with more than 50 new hires during the year, including technical teams, R&D, and an expanding sales force, with a strong focus on attracting talent in Southern Italy.

Group Activities
Diagram Group develops software platforms and AI-based decision-support systems, predictive models, and data integration from IoT sensors, satellite imagery, and agricultural machinery. These solutions enable early detection of climate and phytosanitary risks, optimization of water and chemical inputs, and improvements in yields and environmental sustainability. Group technologies can, for example, detect the onset of crop diseases days before they become visible, or reduce water consumption by an average of 25–30% through smart irrigation systems.

In addition to precision agriculture, Diagram is active in the digitalization of supply chains and in supporting public administrations, banks, and insurance companies in agricultural risk management. From full production traceability to economic and environmental assessment systems, and agrifintech models that turn sustainability into financial value—certified carbon credits, measurable ESG KPIs, and parametric insurance based on objective data.

“The real harvest of the future is data,” Mancini emphasizes. “Measuring, proving, and monetizing sustainability is now a competitive necessity. With our solutions, we help farmers and supply chains move from a reactive to a proactive approach, capable of addressing climate change, water management, and food security.”

New Headquarters and Acquisitions
In 2025, Diagram invested in its new headquarters in Jolanda di Savoia, which includes a modern, highly technological innovation center with a dedicated area for guided tours showcasing services for customers.

Important agreements were also reached with European countries, public administrations and institutions, as well as Italian and international private companies. Notably, the Group recently acquired the Maltese company Bizfront.

In addition, during the year the Group delivered several major strategic projects, including: expansion of digital services through enhanced platforms for integrated business process management; technology investments with the implementation of AI- and automation-based solutions to improve efficiency and competitiveness; and sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting green practices across all divisions.

Diagram also took part in international events and trade fairs such as Fieragricola in Verona and Agritechnica in Hannover, Germany.

Sustainability and Social Impact Initiatives
Diagram Group intensified its commitment to environmental and social sustainability by aligning with the UN 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals and promoting technologies that improve water-use efficiency, soil quality, and climate monitoring.

2026 Outlook and Future Strategies
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Diagram Group has an ambitious development plan focused primarily on international markets, with more than €200 million earmarked for new acquisitions, particularly in Latin America and the European Union. Also in 2026, the Group plans to launch new AI-based platforms designed to expand its offering and strengthen its ability to deliver services and solutions in agro-food risk assessment.

Diagram also confirms its continued participation in events and trade fairs in Italy and abroad, with the aim of consolidating the Group’s presence in both domestic and international markets.

“Our outlook for 2026 and beyond reflects a continued commitment to sustainability, innovation, and value creation for customers, partners, and agricultural communities,” Mancini concludes. “We are ready to lead the digital transition of agriculture on a global scale with cutting-edge solutions and a strong competitive positioning.” Mancini also adds: “Our commitment in Africa alongside BF within the framework of the Mattei Plan will continue, as will our work with Coldiretti and CAI on projects for the digitalization of Italy. We want to keep innovating, investing in technology, and creating sustainable value for our customers and stakeholders.”
