Training

Training is an integral part of our vision and is connected to research and development (R&D) activities and the provision of precision agriculture services.

“The need to train experts and technicians with entirely new transdisciplinary skills, accustomed to understanding and managing complex phenomena, capable of adopting rational solutions in intricate agricultural systems, is a top priority for the BF Group.”

SUMMER SCHOOL

Digital water management for sustainable irrigation

IBF Servizi, in collaboration with the Universities of Parma, Bologna and Teramo, CREA, ANBI and the Emilia-Romagna Canal, organised a Summer School from 12 to 16 September 2022 aimed at 25 participants, including PhD students, researchers and service providers. Designed to enhance the skills of students from various Italian and international universities, the Summer School focused on the use of sensors and data analysis for the digitalisation of irrigation. Students engaged with university lecturers, researchers and industry experts through classroom sessions, hands-on exercises and field case studies on both herbaceous and arboreal cropping systems.
